PERIOD CRAMPS QUESTION!!!!!!!
OMG I am having the worst cramps!! Has anyone had cramps so bad that it hurts to move?!?!?!? I usually get them ,but this month they are super bad!! I just took some motrin!!!!

every few months I get them reallllllllly bad! I use a heating pad when it gets like that - and 3 Advil every 4 hours. definitely helps!

I dose up on ibuprofen and keep the heating pad on my tummy. Feel better

Me too. I take 3 advil every four hours and I use the heating pads but my gyno tell me to stop using the heating pad so I do not use it anymore.

I would say Ibuprofen. Since being on the pill, I never get bad cramps.

Take some alleve. It has Naproxen in it, which is a mild muscle relaxer, it should help. Feel better soon.

Last year when I was as bad as you seem, nothing I had in the house was working and I was miserable because of it. Naproxen was the only thing to help (thanks to a very wonderful friend who brought it to me with a ribbon tied on it) and I just lied in bed until it kicked in. Took awhile, but it did help BIG TIME

i'm on the pill so i dont really feel anything...however, there are the occasional days when i feel cramping and i'm not used to it anymore so to me it hurts like a MoFo! i usually grin and bear it, one time i took motrin and it made my heart race.
i once worked with a girl who every month on the first day of her period would feel sick and go home. the guys in the office couldnt understand it and thought she was faking! some girls just get it worse than others. i felt really bad for her...

I get bad cramps every month. Some times I cant get out of bed. I have prescription Motrin & it does nothing for my cramps. I take advil. I usually start to take them a day or so b/4 I get AF otherwise I get really sick.

Thanks everyone. I went off the pill in February in anticipation of trying to get pregnant next year - I have had pretty good periods, but the last two, incuding this one, are killers!!! The cramps have passed - it was so bad that both my legs hurt......and I felt nauseous!!!!!!!
I appreciate all the recommendations! Next month I will refer back!

No joke I thought something was wrong - it was the worst pain so far in my life - I can only imagine when I do get preggo and I give birth!
