People who switched from Optimum to FIOS?
Did you notice a big change in your electric bill?

i havent noticed anything really. I switched in September.
I just checked my records,
May of last year, October last year and April this year, my bills are all relatively the same. (I chose those months at random - and chose months that wouldnt be skewed by my CAC)
May 2009 I had Optimum. I am also a SAHM so I have my TV and computer on alot!

No, no change!
The big "scare" of the electric bill was made up by Cablevision so people would not switch.
I have had Fios for over 1 year now so I know it is not true.
The installers told us that while the battery back is plugged into the electric it does not take more power than a very small electric item in our house. And since I have had FIOS for a while, I know they were right.

This is kinda funny cause Cablevision was just here trying to get me to switch back and they guy basically agreed with everything bad I had to say and good I had to say about FIOS

I did.
When I called LIPA they said it could be from the additional cable boxes we have in the 3 kids rooms.
They didn't need anything for Cablevision, but they do for FIOS.
