pediatric opthamologist recommendation
I went for DS's 18 month appointment this morning and found out he has an astigmatism in one of his eyes  . I was hoping he'd end up with DH's perfect eyesight, not all my eye problems. Can anyone recommend their pediatric opthamologist? TIA

We went to see a pediatric opto right after my son's 12 mth check up for the same thing....we see Dr. Silvia Kodsi located at 600 Northern Blvd in Great Neck......she was great....516-470-2020

Just saw Dr Kodsi for possible lazy eye for my DD..she is great!

My DDs use Dr. Sandra Ahn-Lee. She is located on Montauk Hwy in Bay Shore. She has a very busy practice but I highly recommend her. She was wonderful with my girls who were 17 months and 3 months old at the time.

Where are you located?
We use Dr Sorkin in Port Jefferson, across from Mather Hospital. DS has been going there for 6 years and we love him!

I forgot to mention that I'm in Farmingdale. None of these are too too far. Thanks for all the recommendations so far.

So the Ped recommeded Dr. Pinchoff in Great Neck and he's GREAT! Very thorough and very nice too.
