I choose Lif over Liw because i am not planning a wedding and its more about family and parenting on here and dieting and your favorite hometeam liw is just all weddings there thats all. yes i go on there to see what the topics are on the liw but its not to my interest.

Ditto! It seems like the whole TTC board moved over here and since that's my focus now, I spend more time over here. I check LIW every now and then, but mostly gonna be a LIFer.

Since my wedding, I've spent mostly all of my time on NWR so I feel no reason to leave LIW until everyone I chat with there jumps ...

I choose LIW over LIF b/c even though my wedding is over I have only been married 3 months and still enjoy helping the other Bride 2 Be's plan their wedding.
I also formed alot of friendships with 05 girls and most of them are still not married and still on the 05 chat board.
I bounce back and forth right now... I think its actually kind of silly to have 2 websites that have alot of the same chat boards on it. JMHO

in all honesty...LIW is pretty boring now...
A lot of blah threads on NWR that are not interesting to me..
But i do like to help out brides and there are SOME liw gals i like talking with that are still on LIW.

I was "leaving" LIW because I didn't feel like I fit in with the posts there. I am not interested in reading about weddings anymore. I couldn't relate to the newlywed board at all, I guess I am lucky but I don't have any problems with my DH that we can't work out ourselves and I get along with my inlaws. NWR was just getting repetitive. The home board didn't seem to get enough traffic.
Right now I am working on renovating our new home. I am hoping this website may attract some new posters and have a busier home board because that is my main interest. But it just seems like right now the same few posters from LIW have moved over there

I like to go back and forth between the two...but, I'll be spending more time here. I'm pregnant and own a home...so, weddings are not my main interest anymore...although I still do like to try to help out brides and see some pics of their weddings.
