Our bedroom makeover is *almost* done (pics) but I need advice on decorating...
BEFORE
AFTER
The wall color is BM Woodlawn Blue and it is my new favorite color! It's very close to Palladian Blue but less green...
I took some pics without the flash for a better representation of the color.
We also replaced the bedding and got new window treatments, courtsey of Overstock.com. I am THRILLED with the bamboo roman shades, they were 1/4 of the price of anywhere else because they are custom sizes. Woot!
So I bought black iron curtain rods and was planning to buy these (from pottery barn) in ivory-as shown.
The big window(s) near the glider will have a panel on each side...However, three windows in my room are quite small, 23 inches or less. Should I still have a curtain hanging on each side of those windows (2 panels), or should I just buy one panel and sort of drape it to one side? Anyone know what I am talkng about, I cannot find a pic of what I mean.
I also need two lamps, for each nightstand.
Oh, and I bought these, but have no clue where to hang them (there's 3 small squares).
Any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks!!!!!

Maybe you could do this. The left window, pull the panel back to the left, the right window, pull the panel to the right. Take the piece of furnish in the corner out and put it somewhere else in the room. Then put those candle holders in between the windows. You could stack the three one on top of the other or off set them from each other, depending on how much room you have there. HTH!
ETA: by the way, I love the color of your room. You did a great job with the colors and the new bedding.

That's ok. Then in this case, the left window, curtain to the left, right window, curtain to the right. The other window to the left of your bed, I would do two panels and the two panels for the double window by the chair. I still think you have to move the piece of furniture in the corner if you can. No sure about the candle holders. Maybe in the corner by the chair. What is on the opposite wall of the bed?

I think those three small squares will look nice over the chair you have in the corner. I also think that black wrought-iron curtain rods would spice up your window treatments and match your bed and the other squares you want to hang. If you don't mind, I have another suggestion. Have you thought about getting lamps on your night stands? I think this will make a big difference! I would stay away from anything blue though....do an ivory shade to match your new window treatments and get a lamp that has a decorative base to it. Maybe you can add a floor plant to the corner to bring some color in?

LOL, I bought black wrought-iron rods already AND I am going to buy lamps too, just haven't found the perfect ones yet. OH and I am also looking for some plants!! Great minds think alike.

Thanks! The room was an addition over the living room and kitchen (put on by the previous owners). It's about 24 by 14 I think. I had a TINY bedroom in my last house, so it feels good to actually be able to have some space, hee hee!

LOVE the color.
i would replace the art that is over the bed with the 3 candle holders. move the art to above each nightstand. buy either black or same color of candle holders bedside lamps with ivory shades.

Oh, here is the view from my bed to the opposite wall. The door on the left is my walk-in closet, the middle door is the bedroom door and the doorway to the right leads to the bathroom...
I moved the jewelry armoire, does it look okay there?

Beautiful!! I love the colors you chose and the style too!! (We have a blue accent wall in our bedroom, BM Gossamer Blue, and I'm in love with it!)

How about some Euro Shams to dress up the bed?? I was anti-euro shams but they made a huge difference and make the bed look so finished... plus they drive my husband crazy which is alwas a plus
