Our 2 week pediatrician visit
I know newborns have growth spurts but holy growth spurt. My little meatball has gained 9 ounces in 10 days and has grown 1 inch since the date of birth. Doctor said he is doing wonderfully  Alex is right on target with weight, diapers, and feedings. His cord fell off last night and the little plastic ring from his circumsision looks like it is about to fall off any day. Alex was very fussy and very gassey last night. I mentioned that to the doctor and he said for me to just watch my diet especially the dairy because that is what may have caused his first bad night. So mommy has to watch the dairy intake.
I cant believe this little guy is 2 weeks old. Our next appt is in 2 weeks just to make sure all is going well

Aww... good to hear he's nice and healthy! Cherish every moment because time goes by so quickly. My little guy is almost 12 wks now 
Isnt it so exciting when they get weighed and there so much bigger??

I was always so excited to hear his heart beat when I had OB appointments and I am even more excited to find out how much he weighs.
DH had to be a smart @$$ and says to the baby "mommy has been waiting 10 yrs to grow 1 inch and you did it in 2 weeks"

I'm glad his appointment went well. I think my son gained just as much as yours did by the 2 week mark, if not more. 
It does go quick, so enjoy!
