Opinion on charm bracelet collection we started for DD
We wanted to start a collection of some sort for DD. Last year, we decided on a charm bracelet. New charm every year for her b-day.
Decided on yellow gold, since it's more timeless (even posted about it asking for opinions  ).
So we have the 14K yellow gold charm bracelet. First 2 charms (birth & 1st b-day) are YELLOW gold.
Can we mix in any white gold pieces ever? Or just stick with yellow? I'm not talking mixed colors on 1 piece, I mean a purely white gold charm.

Just based on what you said, I would not. I have a huge case of OCD. Everything has to match. Maybe if the charm had both yellow and white, I woudl consider it.

And I will tell you that my mom is 61 years old and still has--and occasionally wears--the charm bracelet my grandmother made for her

I'm in the minority here. I sometimes like the mixture.
My grandfather was a jeweler and while everyone is fighting over the heavy pieces and the jewelry with stones, I just want the charms that he made for peoples' bracelets. I love the intricate details and the memories that go with them. It's such a nice tradition!
