DS's birthday is on a Wednesday. I plan to send in cupcakes.

Do you send anything else besides cupcakes?

Should I prepare drinks, hats, and blowouts? Maybe pizza?

We are having a birthday party on Saturday. We will invite his class to his actual birthday party.

I brought in nut free cup cakes, juice boxes, cut up grapes, and we did a "scavenger hunt" for chocolate coins.

In Nursery and Pre-k we bought lunch for the class, did cupcakes, and munchkins. Drinks also

As they get older that stuff is frowned upon Chat Icon

I always saved goody bags for the actual party outside of school, but a few others would do goody bags in class.

My DS is simple. Every year he asks if he can bring in Choc. Chip Cookies (from Stop n Shop bakery). His bday is next Sunday, so, that's what I'll be doing next week.

I think I will do a pizza party, cupcakes, hats and blowouts for preschool.

I will save the favors for the actual party.

I would ask the school what most people do and what they prefer. Our school just prefers something small, so I brought in donuts, veggie sticks, special plates and napkins, and juice.

I think most other parents bring in doughnuts or cupcakes.

The teacher allows parents to participate so I have done food fun and snacktime a few times. Last week, I brought in bagels and we made bagel snowmen. We made strawberry shortcake together 3 weeks ago. I think if I just brought in doughnuts or cupcakes, it would not feel special.
