Ok, is this lady not playing w/ a full deck, or am I going to be a paranoid parent?

Just when I think I have seen everything...my parent's neighbors come along...

Ok, this is just one of the many things that has completely shocked me, but I think this one is tops.

A couple of houses down from my parents lives this women w/ her ever-increasing grandchildren. One of the grandchildren is a little boy, all of mybe 7 years old. The street is a very busy one, and although 30mph is posted everwhere, people insist on doing 80 . Anyway, so I see this child riding a unicycle...yes, a unicycle, IN THE STREET! I would not even let this child ride a bike w/ 2 wheels and handle bars in the street, much less a clumsy unicycle...that he keeps falling off of.

Is it me? Am I the only one who sees a problem w/ this?

It's funny you mention this because DH and I talk about this kind of thing all of the time.

When I was 7 yrs old I was riding my bike all by myself to my friend's house who lived blocks away, yet I won't let my 7 yr old nephew anywhere near the street without me. Such a different time.
