OK, I finally watched the season finale to Grey's last night-SPOILERS
I know I'm behind, but I finally sat down and watched the last few episodes last night. OMG!!!!! There are no words for the feeling I experienced when Meredith realized it was George. As soon as he wrote O and Meredith said O, I realized it. I thought he was trying to spell out O'Mally. But when she put it together, that was amazing and her reaction was incredible.
So I think he is dead for sure and Izzy lives. The look they gave each other on the elevator makes me think that they were kind of happy to know they were going to die at the same time but then they realized Izzy isn't going to die. Izzy could still hear everyone at the very end so I think that was their way of letting you know she was alive.
Alex was awesome, post it wedding was cute and I just loved this episode. Can't wait for next season now!!!!

George is definitely dead and Izzy will live. TR Knight has said he isn't coming back.

that episode seriously messed me up. i was crying so much, i had dreams about it woke up crying. i don't know why but i've never been affected by an episode of tv as much as that one did

 I was so emotional after that episode that the next day on my way to work, I felt like someone who I knew personally had passed away!!!!!!
He was my favorite character on the show  Honestly after that finale I am NOT looking forward to next season!!

ditto, great episode though! This season was such a better season than the last 2.

Between this episode and the Private Practice Finale, i was messed up for days!!!
