Re: OK another formula ?

At 2 months dd was taking 4oz every 3 hrs, sometimes a bit less. I started on similac advanced (she threw that up constantly), went to enfamil gentlease had horrible colic and gas. Finally she is on enfamil prosobee and its awesome, smells gross but she is happy and thriving. Sometimes it takes a while to find a formula they agree with.
I use BRU bottled water

Up to around 3m, they should be getting about 2.5oz per body weight per day, some babies want more, thats fine, but if they take less call your ped.

Bottled water typically doesn't follow the same standards as tap water. Most people just use it straight from the tap. At my most super paranoid moments, I boiled it, cooled it, and ran through a brita filter.

For us Good Start Gentle worked best for DS and his gas issues, then we switched to Similac organic. Its all a matter of trial and error. Most peds recommend Enfamil, most hospitals use Similac.

Re: OK another formula ?

they were on enfamil newborn, good start, similac both DD's got bad gas from all 3, switched to gentlease less gas by one DD spit it up a lot, tried target brand of gentlease no gas or spit up. Love it and so much cheaper they have a large can for $18.
i use bottle or nursery water at room temp
i think my girls were getting 3-4 oz every 2-3 hours at that age
