Hi October 2009 mommies.

How is everyone doning? I had my 30 week appointment this morning. I got my scheduled c/s date and time. I will be a September mommy but hope it is still ok to post here. My scheduled repeat c/s is 9/30 for the first slot of the day. I cannot believe that in 2 months I will g-d willing be a mom of 2. I am up 7 lbs for the pregnancy at 30 weeks - my obgyn is happy with that b/c of my pre-pregnancy size. The baby's HB today was 139. I can't believe that I have 9 weeks left!?!

im 30 weeks today and have my next checkup on monday. 10 more weeks to go i cant believe it...it feels like its flying by now! my shower is in a few weeks and i still have nothing to wear!

Hi October Mommmies!

I'm due October 25th. It's a boy!! He's our 1st. We've been married almost 7 years (in August) and just bought our 1st home.

What else? Hmmm....We aren't sure where we'll deliver, either Mercy or South Nassau.

I'm really crossing my fingers that he doesn't come early because I want a Scorpio baby (i'm a scorpio). My DH is a little worried, not sure he can handle two of us

Hey Girls.....how's everyone's third trimester going???

Over here we are doing well. Baby seems to be measuring average, and doc said because we are doing so well, he doesn't think we'lll need a growth sono until 36/38 weeks.

I passed the GD test, which is awesome. And this last doc visit, I got the Rhogam shot. Man, I never realized how a little shot in the rear can hurt so much!!!!


We are signed up for a hospital tour on Sept. 1st, and I've been checking out videos from the library. I watched a lamaze video, a childbirth video, and I'm going to watch the laugh and learn series with DH.

The lil booger is really starting to run out of room in there, and he's starting to let me know AS SOON as he doesn't like something.

It's actually gotten to the point that he won't let me lay on my sides. That's right. No tummy, no sides with pillows for support (those actually make him madder), so basically the only way I can sleep is on my back. So much for what teh books recommend. haha

Overall, I just can't believe in 11 or 12 weeks this little guy is going to be here.

Oh, yeah. We also ordered our furniture!!!

I am so sorry your tushie hurt from the Rh shot. The things we go through for our DC - they have no idea!

HI ladies!!!

28 weeks this week I just took my glucose on Monday so I'm hoping I passed that.

I just got a message that the crib is in, so I can't wait to get that all set up.

Feeling great, no complaints really. I'm feeling this baby SO much. I had a lot of amniotic fluid with DD, so I wasn't really used to all this pressure and poking and movement. It's great

I go back in a few weeks and I'll be scheduling my c/s date

I'm so excited!!!!

8 weeks 6 days left for me! aside from sleeping horribly and bad back pain im feeling good!

my dr hasnt mentioned anything yet about a growth sono. when are you all going for yours?

Due 10/25, lower bucks hospital as I live in Levittown PA.

We're starting to get our nursery together. waiting for the crib to arrive (end of the month) and my shower is the 2nd weekend in sept.

took our childbirth class..well part of it.couldnt stay for the whole thing but im in touch with the labor / delivery nurse who runs it and shes been super helpful.

passed my Glucose test as well and i go for a growth sono 8/13..it will be 9 weeks since we last saw little one.

No name as of yet. DH is stuck on Jack. I will agree to that if i get naming rights for kid # 2..he's pondering that..LOL

is due 10/31. She is currently footling breech, and I am SO UNCOMFORTABLE! Her whole head and body lays right under my ribs, so I feel like I can hardly breathe or sit. I constantly feel little kicks way down low, it is such a weird feeling. I am she moves the right way soon. I know I have time, but I want her to just get head down already!

Hi mommies to be!

I am 29 weeks, is due 10/22.

I had the best first and second trimesters; now that I have entered the third, I am pretty miserable. I have a nasty cough that I can't shake and just pulled some muscle on my side today from coughing so much! I just want to feel better.

So far so good with my doctor appts. My blood pressure has been normal, weight gain is within range, the baby's heartbeat is strong, and I passed the 1 hour glucose test with flying colors!

Our crib will be delivered next Saturday. Shower invites should go out this weekend. I need to finish up my registry.

Started childbirth classes (Bradley method) and I have learned so much in just two classes! I am hoping for a natural, drug-free birth but we will see what happens.

So all in all, just trying to keep things moving!

Hi fellow October mommies!

I'm 31 weeks now and can't believe baby will be here in exactly two months! I'm up about 16 lbs. from pre-pregnancy and feel pretty good. I have heart burn after almost every meal (and especailly at night) but tums seems to be doing the trick.

I had a sono this week and the baby is measuring 3lbs9oz. The doctor estimates I'll have an 8 lb baby, which is kind of what I expected (around the weight DH and I both were). Everything looks good and the doc is happy with our progress. Baby has turned and is head down, sticking its butt into my ribs and kicking me constantly!

My furniture is in, but we are waiting until the 26th to have it delivered. We are doing major work on the house and won't get to paint or prepare the room for at least two weeks. I'm a little bummed about that, but am trying to be patient!

We're taking a childcare class at Winthrop in two weeks and I have to schedule a tour of labor and delivery. I ordered DVDs to watch in lieu of lamaze, but if I feel unprepared I'll take lamaze in September.

I hope everyone enjoys the last two months of being pregnant!

Hi...I am 32 weeks and due 10/2 (Good Sam) but b/c I have Gest. Diabetes, I will be induced @ 39 weeks ..so now technically a Sept. mom...(hope it is ok to post here)...7 weeks left, can't believe it. Still a surprise!!! :)

Hi everyone! I'm due 10/4 with a girl. I'm 32 weeks and had a growth sono at 31 weeks, baby measured 3lbs 15oz, tech said not too big and not too small. I was up 20lbs. Next appt is at 34 wks and I will have the swab test for group b strep. My shower is next week, Yay! My 2nd anniversary is also 9/30. Baby still has no name...but I can't wait till she is here! 8 more weeks! Good luck to all!

Hi All, 32 weeks tomorrow and I am realizing I need to get my tush in gear with baby stuff.

On Saturday I am turning 32. So for me.

My mom, MIL and grandma and I are going to go baby clothing shopping next week. I don't have another appointment until 33 weeks, but the summer is FLYING by.

it just dawned on me that we're nearing the end of august...soon it will be september...and then OUR month! holy guacamole!!!

im 33 weeks tomorrow! cant wait to meet my sweet pea in 7 weeks!

Feeling great, aside from the obvious normal pregnancy stuff

Baby is moving A LOT. I seriously don't think it ever stops! But it's awesome.

Time is really flying now! I have just a little over 6 weeks to go now. I just had my baby shower this past Sunday and got tons of stuff and had a great time. Hope everyone else is doing well!

seriously people!!!! its like we just started this thread! this is insane! im 32 weeks tomorrow and i remember telling people when i was 8 weeks! and i only have 8 weeks to go!

i dont have another appt until im 34 weeks and then i have my internal at 36 and growth at 37. i feel like im carrying a bowling ball.

ive had the smoothest pregnancy and i feel like karma just bit me in the butt. now im just so uncomfortable. i told DH never again will i be pregnant in august!! but this is so worth it!!!

i love feeling him even more now since hes running out of room. its like i can feel all his movements.
