What are all these mandates even accomplishing? Look at Israel! They have been way ahead of us with vaccinations like 80 percent of their population and covid is raging there both in vaccinated and unvaccinated! High proportion of vaccination with Pfizer didn’t stop this! Now they are scrambling to get third doses into people to try to help. This current vaccine isn’t the answer. Mandating is doing nothing, cases are higher than they were when less people were vaccinated two months ago. We need a better plan as a country.
This is the truth, but nobody wants to admit it.
Maybe they need to go back to the drawing board and work on perfecting this vaccine? It came out pretty fast, and it seems to not be working like it should.
Maybe they need to spend the effort on figuring that out and coming up with a better, more effective vaccine rathering than mandating the current one which doesn't seem to be the answer.
No shame in that.

Absolutely. My sister is an ER RN and my mother is the VP of surgical services at a very large network of hospitals in KY. They also feel the same way. They take an oath to protect themselves and their patients in whatever means necessary and right now that is the vaccine. Their hospital network has already mandated the vaccine and they have not lost a great deal of staff due to that. Pretty sure they also didn’t ALL claim religious exemption either! Most nurses hopefully are more ethical than what some “friends” on here are.

I am sure there are other places they can work that doesn't need to be vaccinated. Traveling nurses are making a killing and still being able to work and help others.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. My employer is reviewing possibly mandating the vaccine. It wouldn’t make much sense if you have to get it in non-health care settings but they’d be optional for them.

On the subject of religious exemptions, they can be hard to get. They are well aware that people will and are abusing it. Sometimes it includes a signature from a religious leader you’d have ties with, which all of the dishonorable people won’t have.

Because that would admit there is some fault to the vaccine, areas need to be improved and why would they do that? The recent campaign to force this on kids would make people question things more and because science you know.
