Npr:would you go to the dr?

So in Oct i got this insane pain in my lower abdomen. Like never before in my life pain. I went to the dr who sent me to Mather. All tests were done, it appeared I had an ovarian cyst blow up. FF to last night, i woke up at 2 am with crazy muscle spasms and a very similiar pain again. I went back to sleep. I woke up this morning and the pain is still there, not as insane, but still uncomfortable. Both times the pain happens when I am ovulating. So, should i go to the dr?the only difference in this pain is while it is in the same spot, its connecting to right under my breast, like top of the abdomen. I feel much better from this morning, but not 100%. wwyd?

I would. My sister had an ovarian cyst rupture & she was lucky to have gone to the doctor in time.

She had pain in her arm on top of ovarian pain which was an indicator of something more serious.

Im going. Dh is coming home to be with ds after his nap, im going to get it checked out. Just incase its something else.

Well they think it is another ovarian cyst. Im going at 4 for a trans vag sono to confirm. Follow up with obgyn next wed.

After my whole miscarriage situation they told me I have a cyst on my ovary but that it's fairly common, but they want me back in six weeks for a checkup. No one in the office seemed worried. I hear cyst and automatically panicked. I never realized how common these things are.

Yeah from what i have read, they are super common. But let me tell you, i would rather have another 5 c/s instead of this pain. This pain is ridiculous.

Nope. I have taken about 6 tylenol and no change in pain. When i was in the hosp last time they gave me dilautin, that stuff is fabulous. Like the best should be otc drug ever.

Well it is def a cyst. She said to rest, and in a day or two it should be better. Most likely its inflamed due to my ovulating. Rest, yeah ok with a two year old. Never going to happen. Thank God he is somewhat calm today.
