Nintendo Wii-Has anybody seen them for sale?
Has anybody seen them for sale in Suffolk county anywhere? I really don't want to pay a fortune on Ebay. My fault though for looking so late in the game! TIA!

Best Buy in Nassau had them last weekend..I dunno if y'all Suffolk people have Best Buy.

LOL we do, but I've been calling around and haven't had much luck.
One more desperate bump! I've been calling all over all morning!!! If anybody is selling one on here, I have an Elmo that I can include in the price

The Virgin Mega Store had them in the city, not sure if there is one on the Island, but I happen to come across one when I was walking to railroad the other day, it seems they just got some in but you had to purchase 3 games to be able to get the wii.

i waited outside circuit city for 5 hours on Sunday morning for it for my little brother.
here's a hint - if its advertised in the store's circular, they HAVE to have at least 12 in the store.
If you get on the line outside Target at 4am, or circuit city at 5am, you have a shot.
Best Buy is the worst with this - they took it out of their ad last week, and told me it wouldn't be in this week either.
eta: last sunday, target by me had 80....the 80th person was on line at 5:10am. (they open at 8)
Circuit City by Smithaven mall had 27...the 27th person was on line at 6:30am (they open at 10)
Circuit City in E Npt (where I got it) had 15... I was #12, on line at 5am.

GAMESTOP/FUNCOLAND/EBGAMES is getting shipment today around noon.
DH works for the corp. so he told me since a friend of ours was looking in Ohio for one.

Thank you! I'm going to see if I can get my mom to watch the kiddies. I certainly don't want them to suffer through this chaos with me! I'm really an idiot for deciding that this is the gift I HAVE to get DH!

Okay, I called a few Gamestop locations and asked about their shipments and I was told that they "can't verify what will be in their shipments". Sounds kind of promising! Guess I'm going shopping!

I've actually been looking for one for DH also! I am home sick today, but I would head out if they are really getting them. I just called a few gamestops, and they said they didn't know or no they don't have them. Not sure what I should do! =( I don't want to go out for nothing!

I know. I'm debating going. What if their shipments late and I'm standing there waiting for nothing? Or what if another location gets them while I'm sitting there at a location that doesn't get them? Guess it's just the luck of the draw. I'm going to attempt to go to the one near here and pray that I get lucky. I have somebody on craigslist willing to sell me one, but it's for $100 over retail and I REALLY don't want to pay extra money if I don't have to.

I never even heard of it until my boss just asked me to call around the stores in the city this morning. I can't even speak with anyone at the Nintendo store at Rock Center. Guess I'm wasting my time

Well, no luck at the three locations I went to. The Gamestop in the Smithaven mall is closed because of some NY State health violation  , so Electronics Boutique received their shipment and they "can't disclose information about what is in the shipment"

One that I went to had just gotten a shipment of PS3s and they were sold out already by the time I left.
