Nice brunch places in Nassau for a baby shower
Can anyone help my friend find a brunch place for her baby shower in Nassau County?
Preferably closer towards NYC since a bunch of people are coming out for it.
She's looking for a nice place for good food - about 35 people.
She called Garden City Hotel and they require you to guarantee 50 ppl.
Thanks so much - she's new to LI and doesn't know too many places. Thanks!

Does she need a place near a LIRR station for the city people - or are they driving?
Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City
Crabtrees Restaurant in Floral Park
George Washington Manor in Roslyn (a bit further out - but it's lovely)
Jack Duggan's Pub in Floral Park (the upstairs dining room)

I was thinking some place in Garden City but not sure where...I told her there had to be something in Roslyn, but I couldn't think!

Check out the Davenport Press, its in Mineola and very close to the train for people commuting from NYC
I thinks its about 30 minute commute

Hemingway's in Wantagh does a nice brunch. It's fairly close to the LIRR as well.

George Martin in Rockville Centre has a nice brunch package...it's also right by the train station which is convenient for those coming from the city.

i went to a group party at george martin in the upstairs room and the food was subpar to say the least.
my bridal shower was at crabtrees for brunch and it was GREAT. hope that helps
