need to find a nice brown handbag for everyday use, no more than $100,
for my Grandma to give my Mother for Christmas.
Grandma doesn't get out shopping too much - she still works, and by the time she gets home, she just wants to crash.
Soooo...has anyone seen a nice, medium-sized bag in that budget?

Try Stein Mart.
They had classic all season Michael Kors on sale for around $100
They also had some other brands too..but I only notice Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren

I posted this one the other day. I got it at Macys, it was $118.00 (a little more than you want to spend) I used the friends & family 20% discount. Check the mail maybe they will have this coupon again. Image Attachment(s):

Marshall's or TJ Maxx! you can definitely find Italian leather handbags for under $100

I just bought (another) brown leather bag from Kohl's last week for $20.00. They had a 50% off sale on all accessories.

I looked in the Commack store, but everything was synthetic! I didn't see any leather

The one in Oceanside, they had Nine West bags too which I liked but didn't want to spend too much. Lest my DH complaineth. 
Some of them were so horrible that I cringed when I saw them. I had to dig for the one I found.
ETA:
I just went to their site to find the one I bought and can't find it. But I did find a lot that said vinyl, not leather! I wonder if I'm mistaken, I thought it had the "genuine leather" tag on it when I picked it up... If it's not on their site, I can't imagine it would be in their store.

aw, that's no problem Trish, I saw one I liked there, but it was vinyl.
I'll check TJ MAxx and Marshalls today.

THey have brown and they run from about 79-109

Don;t laugh but on QVC or HSN they had a really nice brown handbag (actually it came inseveral colors) that was leather with lots of pockets for $20.
I was actually tempted to buyt it
