Need Opinions - Looking for new Headlights for my 66 Beetle.
Which ones do you like better?
Clear or Fluted

Fluted
Front end of my Beetle. Right now I have the Clear lights on. I am undecided if I want to buy the clear or the fluted.

The fluted ones look kind of retro and cool. The clear ones seem a little too modern for that car.

I say you retrofit that sucka' with some Xenons! LOL
If you wanna keep it orig-looking, I say go with the fluted, otherwise the clears do give it a slightly different look.

The originals on that car were clear. The fluted are nice also.....Tough choice.
The clear glass or the fluted both give out the same amount of light which isnt much on this car for some reason.
It was converted from 6 volt to 12 volt but the headlights arent as bright as they should be I think....I dont know.
I want to keep the stock look....If I wanted to do Xenon headlights I would of bought a civic.

I forgot to post here but I ended up buying Original Equipment headlights from another 66 Beetle. They are clear. I have to buy new Headlights for the assembly first though. Just havent had the chance to get to the auto parts store
