Need help planning our vacation - Recs for the best family resort? anywhere!
We are planning a family vacation for early June and I have no idea where we should go. I'm super excited bc it's been 6 years since we took a real non-Disney/Florida vacation.
We have 2 DS', ages 6 and 2. We are leaning towards all-inclusive bc my 2 yo is a typical 2 year old and we want stress free. But will consider non AI also.
Must be outside the US. This is more for my DS1 since he can't get over the fact that he's 6 and hasn't left the country, lol.
We just want beautiful and relaxing and a place where both my 2 and my 6 year old will have a great time and where we can have fun! We live in FL so that helps shorten some flights.
Thanks for any recommendations. I'm finding it hard to plan without a specific country in mind and need to keeps my kids needs and especially safety in mind. Also, any opinions about traveling to Mexico? My reaction is no but am i being too cautious?

i haven't been there... but i've heard REALLY good things about Beaches Turks and Caicos.... its a family all inclusive.
Also-- if you have the budget LOL disney's resort in Hawaii--- Aulani, is supposed to be incredible!!! its not out of the US--- but its far enough away that your DS might be happy HAHA (that cracks me up, by the way!)
or what about a cruise? they go to different countries, and are pretty stress free with kids--- all inclusive (for the most part) and they have kid's clubs for the kids to play and meet other kids....

The Royalton in Cancun. We are staying at the Hideaway for adults only within the Royalton. The resort is amazing and gets great reviews. They have a kids splash area with a ton of stuff for the kids and kids clubs. While I'm looking forward to our getaway I'm Sad the kids won't be going! If I end up loving it, we will bring the kids back for vacation next year.

Friends of ours just got back from Punta Cana - stayed at a Melia AI I believe. They loved it and it was very affordable. Lots to do and about 20 restaurant choices I believe.

I looked into that resort - it looks awesome.
We were supposed to go to the Melia in the Bahamas and the one in the DR got much better reviews.
