Need help from ladies good with makeup cause I STINK!
I am awful with colors.
I am in a wedding and the color of the dress is chocolate brown. I tried on a few brown lipsticks and liner but its WAY too dark for me..I am VERY fair skinned. What color should I go with? A lighter brown? SHould I just do a gloss? Lipstick with liner and a gloss over it?? I am so confused!

I would do a darkish eye... like really black mascara and dark brown liner... and then do a light lip gloss... maybe nude liner with a peachy lip gloss...

You could even use a purple tone in your eyeshadow color. I did once for a wedding I was in - I wish I had a picture here at my house to scan and show you, it came out pretty nice.

A raisin color on your lips would look a lot better than brown. I wear chocolate brown a lot and am very fair. That is my usual lipstick color.

I would go w/ either a raisin or a very pale pink lip w/ a more dramatic eye.
I like the way pale pink goes w/ brown... And a lipgloss perhaps instead of a lipstick.
Maybe something like this...

I prefer to wear gloss instead of lipstick. I'm pretty fair skinned with a thin upper lip, and I find that gloss is more flattering. Maybe a nice nude color or something a little deeper (since gloss is sheer). I like MAC Lipglass, Stila glosses and Clinique's glosses and Almost Lipstick.

Personally i hate dark lips. I like a natural or peachy lip.

bobby brown in smithaven mall is having an event on the 19th. they will show you how to apply the makeup and the best colors for you, if you are interested.
