Need advice re:new school and the bathroom

DS just started a new school. I told the teachers to remind him to use the bathroom because it is a new school, he is unfamiliar with the school and teachers and he may be shy to ask. Sometimes he also may forget if he is busy playing, etc. I still put a pull up on him because I'm afraid of accidents out of the house I know I have to get rid of them.

Anyway, he's bee coming home with a wet pull up and today actually peed through the pull up He went to the bathroom before we left for school and is only at school 2 1/2 hours. How does that happen? He doesn't even pee through them at night.

I am going to speak to the teacher again but I am kind of annoyed.

would be too! most classes have bathroom times where they take the kids regardless if they ask to go or not. definitely talk to the teacher again and have them make sure they actually see him go, not just bring him into the bathroom. some kids get nervous in new bathrooms and just need to get used to it.
