My son needed 4 stitches tonight
I almost had a complete breakdown today.
My son is 2 1/2....i just had another boy 3 weeks ago,.....i was getting ready to give my son a bath and was washing bottles in the sink....I heard him go in the bathroom. Well, next thing I hear is him call me....I knew something was wrong...When I walked in the bathroom, it was like a scene out of a horror movie...There was blood all over his mouth, hands, shirt, the sink....He climbed on top of the bathroom sink. There he was, not crying. All he said was " Mommy, I shave"..he took my husband's razor and cut his lip....Thank God that was the only thing that got cut..
My husband tried for a half-hr. to stop the bleeding and then took him to the hospital. He had to get strapped on the table while a plastic surgeon put 4 stitches in his lip...He goes Thursday to have them removed.He's been a rel trooper though.I'm taking it a lot worse

Omg...poor baby...
I think that's the worst thing...seeing the blood and not knowing what to do....just wanting to take the pain away from them...

OMG How horrible!!! And so scary for you, Im glad it wasnt worse. Im sure he was very brave!
My son has had stitches 2x already so it takes me back to the moment reading your post, it really is frightening.
Aw! Im sure you are exhausted today from stress. Hugs to both of you!!

OMG! I literally gasped reading this. I'm so sorry you had to go through this but I am truly glad it wasn't worse.

Thx all for your good wishes....He's feeling good today..I have to put bacitration on the stictches 3x a day and he goes Thursday to have them removed...
