My Dog has been having seizures
My parents just told me my dog (she lives w/ them) has had her 3rd seizure (in a year).
They had her in the backyard & my mom heard her yelping & crying & went out & she was on her side, shaking & jerking & her eyes were glazed. My mom started calling her name & in about 2 minutes she slowly got up & was fine.
It's happened before...she was walking and all of a sudden fell over & started yelping.
Has this happened to anyone? Any advice?
She's 8.

I would take her to the vet ASAP. They do have medication they can put your dog on.

My dog had heart disease and had syncope episodes due to the heart disease and it looks exactly like a seizure like you are describing. Make sure they check out your dog's heart. At first I thought it was a seizure too.

Unfortunately I had experience with this right before my dog had passed away. He had minor ones for 2 weeks leading up to it but nothing major. The night before he passed away he had a really bad one in the backyard. My mom dragged him in the house & eventually he came out of it. He unfortunately never woke up the next morning 
I would get him to the Vet ASAP. I know there are meds to help but they will run a bunch of tests.

My dog had seizures for 4 years before he passed away. He had diabetes and his liver was enlarged. He also had a heart murmur. He did not seizure everyday. It would happen every now and then. He had is last 5 seizures on Oct 10th
