My 6 month old shakes her head back and forth like No...???
Is this normal? She seems to like it..she shakes her head back and forth as to say "NO". Anyone know why?

OK thanks, this started at exactly 6 months which was last week....at first we laughed but then it was like Uhhh what is this....she smiles and laughs..it started on the changing table, thanks so much!!!

Yeah, my DD did this too and it really freaked me out at first, but then we found out it was normal. She started around 6 months old too. She's just shy of 10 months old now, and she doesn't do it nearly as often anymore.

thank God because i thought it was just my kid! i swear DH and i would look at each other like uhhhh is this okay cause he would do it alot and for a couple of seconds. He's not even 6mos yet and has been doing this for about a month now.

My baby does it when he is sleepy all the time. He just recently started doing it while he is sitting up. He laughs, so I think he is being playful.
