Moms of kids with summer bdays

Do you invite kids from school? My DD is going to be 4 and will go into PreK next year. I'm sure many of the kids will be in the same class from last year but we won't have seen them for a month by the time her bday comes. I could do a small family party since a party place would be hard to do with the range of kids in the family (2 yrs - 11 yrs) but since she does go to school already, I'm wondering what others have done.

I dont have a summer baby, but if I was in the situation - if i wanted to invite them i would, if they dont want to go they can always say no. So why not invite them if you can. Im sure your dc would love to see friends that he/she hasnt seen in awhile.
