Moms of kids under 3 (Halloween related)

I can't wait to dress up DD, but then what?
I feel silly bringing her Trick-Or-Treating because she is obviously not the one who is going to eat the candy.
How does this work? Chat Icon Chat Icon

Luckily, Lily has a cousin who was born on Halloween last year, so they're having a costume party to celebrate her 1st birthday this year. So we have a costume pasty to go to.
Otherwise, I think I would have dressed her up and stayed at home for trick-or-treaters.

I would feel silly if I was bringing an infant but it's fine with a toddler, it's all about showing off the 'ween gear. Besides its going to be obvious who's eating the candy when you knock another neighborhood kid out of the way for the last Snickers Chat Icon

Enjoy! Dont feel silly

I'm taking Steven! And DH already called all of the candy. I'll probably take some to work too since I don't want to get temptedChat Icon

We're most likely just going to go around a few blocks. And, we have a party to attend on Monday.

Our friends always had a party so we went to that. DD is 2 so this year we'll take her trick or treating just in our little area.

I'm taking DS around with my nephew.
Then will split the candy up and bringing it to the bowling alley to share amongst everyone.

DD will be 10 months by halloween so I am dressing her up putting her in the stroller and walking around the neighborhood so she can see the other kids.
Im not going up to houses at her age thats silly.

Last year since Molly was just born 6 days later, Jack was in charge of handing out the candy. So he was in his costume and stood by the door and screamed with excitement everytime some kids walked up our driveway. He thought he had a special job! Worked out for everyone.

DD is going trick or treating with her cousins. If she gets any candy it will stay with her cousins otherwise it will end up on my hips!

Re: Moms of kids under 3 (Halloween related)

I took DDfor the past two years. The first time she was 1 1/2 and really had no idea what was going on but caught on really quickly. Last year she was 2 1/2 and understood and had a ball. This year she will be 3 1/2 and she is so excited to go.

I would take DC even if it's just to a few neighbors. They love seeing them all dressed up.
