Has anyone ever gone to any of these group events on Long Island? What were your thoughts?

Bumping this back up for your thoughts on this.
I went to my first event recently. I felt kinda uncomfortable.
Everyone was nice enough, but I was like the only one who was recently married in the group. Everyone else was like divorced or seperated, and some of them just had, I don't know, a a strange vibe. I don't know if I'd go again.
Plus, everyone seemed to know each other already so I felt like the "odd one out".
