maybe the third time will be a charm...second update below
Pretty sure I'm back again.
After my mc earlier this year, DH and I decided to take some time to try to get healthier and figure out to what extent we wanted to try again. Shocked the heck out of us when I learned I became pg on my own. First beta looked great, but the RE put me on progesterone suppositories because that was borderline. Second set of numbers a week later looked normal. This morning, I woke up with red spotting and cramps, both of which have become worse throughout the day.
I spoke with the RE and he won't see me until my scheduled appt next week and said there's nothing he can do.
The kicker -- my boss was picking me up at 7am to go to a meeting. Poor guy -- I was sobbing while telling him what was going on and that I had to miss the meeting.
ugh.

I am sorry you are going through this. That is aweful. However don't lose all hope, with my dd I bled until 20 weeks and at one point early on it was bright red with cramping. She is 20 months old. I have had three miscarriages though, so I know how aweful that wait is to find out if alll is ok...or not. I think your RE is beingreally uinfair. I have never heard of such a thing. Of course he can't do anything EXCEPT either give you piece of mind or tell you to go out and enjoy a bottle of wine. Honestly with all my miscarriages and pregnancies my docs RE and OB always saw me immediately when I had a concern. I think your RE is being very insensitive. Will your ob see you?
