Maternity Leave with small company
I work for a small company, only 10 people total. I wanted to take off about 8 weeks total, probably 2 before my due date. I read that there must be at least 15 employees for disability. Was anyone else in this position? Do I have any other options? Any help or opinions would really be appreciated. TIA!!!!

We just had the talk this morning with my boss. Since there are only 10 people here, he told me to look into it and let him now. He said I will get what I'm entitled to. I'm just not sure if my job pays or the government for disability. I'm trying to look online at all these websites and I'm getting more confused.

similar situation, company only has 8 employees. I will be getting NYS Disability for 6-8 weeks depending on my delivery. I however worked out a deal with my employer to stay out for 12w & work from home pretty much the entire time (manning the emails & what not) & get paid my salary.

I worked in a 3 person company and got disability.
