Married at first sight, anyone?
Has anyone been watching this lately? This week was interesting with Jamie and Doug and the whole lying about smoking the cigarette thing. I still think that they aren't going to stay together- she didn't like him at first, then seemed to like him after getting to know him, but she has this whole huge issue with trust so I don't see it working..
Monet and Vaughn.. too much conflict, they are not going to last.
The only couple I think may end up staying married is Courtney and Jason.

I'm still rooting for Jamie and Doug but I think he royally effed himself by lying about the smoking. She already had trust issues. Hopefully they can work through it.
Monet and Vaughn...ughhhh! LOL. I just don't know. I really really like her and I feel like if she says anything that he sees as mean, its only in response to his crazy @ss comments. I really don't think she can ever win with him. If they stay together, they have A LOT of work ahead of them.
Jason and Courtney are my fav!! I hope he lets her in a little bit more because I really think they will be great together and last!

oh and I just found out Jamie was in "the bachelor" in Ben's season... now i'm thinking she is one of those girls that just likes to be on reality tv shows lol.

I feel bad for Doug because I really like him. Money and Vaughn who ever thought these two were compatible really need their heads examined. I really hope they all stick it out but I have a feeling even though I am routing for them that none of them will.

I think jamie and doug will stay together permanently. Theyll be ups and downs. They're my fav.
I think Monet and Vaughn will break up at the month deadline. I dislike both of them.
I think courtney wants to make it work more than jason. I think they'll stay together awhile but not for years. I thought it was so weird he didn't think they were "there yet" and he wouldn't travel south to meet her dad and other family.

I think at this point Jamie and Doug have the best shot. I really like them together. I do not hold Jamie's past reality tv experience against her at all. The best relationships, in my opinion, start out as friendships.
I love Jason and Cortney too and I think she wants to stay together but he seems very reluctant and afraid. In the beginning I thought they would definitely stay together but now I'm afraid they won't.
Money and Vaughn....they are just so mismatched, she is not what he is looking for and he isn't what she needs - plus the have terrible communication skills. It's hard to watch actually. Which makes me think that it is all an editing plot and that they WILL stay married!

i am very sucked into this show!!!..
Monet and Vaughan---forget it...they should not stay together...its too much conflict and it is tiring for the viewer to endure...so for them it must be torture...and I also agree she will never win with him...he runs way too hot and cold...
Jamie and Doug---I was so rooting for them but I do not think they will last now...I did not think a white lie about smoking was a huge deal but I could see where she was coming from for sure....BUT it was huge that he swore on his moms life about it!! (at least to me thats crazy)..I think he was caught and was trying to save face and it snowballed then backfired..maybe they still have a chance but with her trust issues it may be hard..
Courtney and Jason--- love everything about them..I really really hope they stay married...it seems almost magical between them...

I just watched last night-can someone please explain is there an incentive for them if they stay together? If they're not getting along/in love whatever why not just divorce and move on? I must be missing something.

I watched last night too... I really don't know. I'm not aware of any incentive other than being matched with someone that was tailored to what they wanted. They basically asked to be with their match...sort of. LOL.
It's interesting... all of them really seem to be in this. Whether or not they actually "make it" I don't expect any of them to want or ask for a divorce next week. I'm a little scared with how Jason's been acting but still think he may give this a fair shot.

Yes, I agree.
I think courtney wants to stay together but jason won't. I think jamie and doug will stay together. Monet and Vaughn have good sexual chemistry and I think they may stay together at the end of the 4 weeks bit not much longer after that.

I don't think that Jason would want to give up. I get that he is afraid of commitment and doesn't trust easily, but Courtney hasn't given him any reason not to trust her. If he won't give her a shot, then he won't give ANY relationship a shot.
Jaime has tried, but is just not into Doug; she never was and never will be. It is one of those relationships where the guy says and does all the right things (well, except for the "lie"), but in the end she is just not attracted to him. You can tell with her mannerisms and threats to divorce him.
As for Monet and Vaughn, I don't think she will tolerate him longterm.

I don't believe Jaimes back story and they way they talk about Jason going to the fire academy as if its a deal breaker is ridiculous. I love watching these dumb shows but sometimes the fake/staged situations are just soooo corny and distracting.

Ok I watched the last one that aired. I really don't know if any of them will stay together at this point.
From the beginning I knew Monet and Vaughn would be highly unlikely to stay together. They just totally clash and argue all the time and have different ideals (like how Vaughn wants a wife that cooks for him all the time)
Jamie and Doug- I didn't know about these two and was rooting for them, but after the last episode it appears Jamie will be leaving Doug, she kept talking about all the trust stuff and threatening him with divorce which I felt was really messed up. I feel really bad for Doug because he seems like such a nice guy and he really seems into Jamie but the feelings are not reciprocated. I just think Jamie wasn't attracted to Doug since the beginning and can't get past that.
I thought Courtney and Jason would be the ones to stay together but with the most recent episode it seems like Jason is really scared about the future and going to the fire academy. So now I don't even know with them.
Can't wait to find out what happens next week!

My DH's best friend's sister is actually neighbors with Jamie and Doug. Believe it or not, they are still happily married! His sister says she didn't even know that they were on this show until it aired. Also, Doug has since had cosmetic surgery to remove the 2 big moles on the side of his face (he had bandages on a few weeks ago when they saw him). She said they seem very happy and like any normal married couple.

I really don't like Vaughn and what's her name. they're relationship is too extreme...either fighting or overly passionate. No middle ground. I don't see this lasting.
Courtney and Jason I really like and I want them to stay together, but I feel like he's just not letting her in enough.

Could be photoshopped? If Doug has had moles removed since being with Jaime, it is just a matter of time before she has him get a hair transplant, lol.

ITA he does look better with scruff.
Didn't know Jamie had a press kit... interesting... now its more likely she was only on this to get her name out probably.
