We go every year.
We're going on the 22nd.
It's a lot of fun. My recommendations:
The chess match is cool.
Get to the Joust early for a seat.
The Mud People are fun, but sit FAR away.
Have a pickle (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get there).

im supposed to be going the 23rd. thats the last day. I cant wait. Its so much fun. My niece is 4 months old and this will be her first reniaissance faire to make it more exciting.

Have been going for 7 years now. It is a nice day out. Believe it or not..the show I look forward to the most is the Birds of Prey. Gonna be going next weekend.

We used to go every year, but now haven't been in the last 2 years.
Try to catch some of the shows. I always love the chess game and of course, make sure you see the duel.

I went to it once, it was a lot of fun. I had to get one of the giant turkey legs because I always wanted to walk around with a giant turkey leg and proclaim "I am the king!"

I went a few times a couple of years ago. It's a lot of fun, they're all in character and a lot of the patrons are too!! Def see the Live Chess Match and the jousting, the Daredevil stunt-guy is cool, and Michael the Magician (he's really a comic). Hmmm, the father-son knife throwing is funny. They do the same skits a bunch of times throughout the day so I suggest looking at the schedule online and planning your day out so you get to see everything of interest. There's also a small museum of medieval weapons and things like the rack, that's pretty interesting but it's a little extra.

i go every year and i really enjoy it. The food is awesome dont forget to get a turkey leg ! I also like the bird show, the shops , he candle wax is awesome and i like to just hang out and watch everything so funny
