What program are you using?
Your pictures look amazing..esp some recent ones that you both have posted.
I have a Nikon D40 and Elements. 
Any features I should be using??

I have the Nikon D50. I don't edit them except sometimes I make the eyes lighter using GIMP(free program). Someone fixed my Avator pic using a photshop (I am not sure which one she used). Sorry I am no help
