Lipoma removal
I have had a Lipoma removed twice near sholder. Once by general surgeon and once by plastic surgeon. It is growing back again. It's every two years now that I am having surgery for this. I found another plastic surgeon who does these surgeries but he is out of network and don't want to spend thousands. Can anyone recommend someone that does this surgery and does many?

Lipoma removal
I have a lipoma on my neck and my doctor said that they usually grow back, if not in the same spot, then somewhere else. I never really looked into it after he told me that. I thought they are known to grow back?

I just read about lipoma removal...apparently it's uncommon that it grows back after surgical removal...my former doctor was wrong

So funny! My dermatologist said it is hard to completely remove and not uncommon to grow back and I read what you read, that it 's rare that it grows back.
I am having this surgery every two years now. Already had it twice. It looks terrible if I don't and the last plastic surgeon did a horrible job on it and the scar is awful, so I want to get it removed after the summer and hoping for a better scar.
