Like Netflix but it for Kids Toys

As seen on Sharks Tank

Something to check out for those with babies/toddlers. The concept is just like Netflix. Rent 4 to 8 toys "You Pick Your Plan" for a few months and then exchange them out for different toys. Kids get bored of toys really fast and I though this was a clever idea.

I wouldn't pay a monthly fee for toys, and I would worry about the cleanliness of the toys.

Seems like an ok idea, but I don't think it will take off.

I don't see this going far.
One kids get bored with toys quickly sure but when its time to get rid of them suddenly it's their favorite toy again. Well at least my kid is that way.

Also kids break stuff. It says on the website its $2-$8 bucks a broken piece. I rather buy the toy flat out instead. I know that I would be stressed making sure he didn't break it and probably wouldn't let him play with it they way he would want, making it less fun.

No my kid doesn't break everything but accidents happen and hes a boy, hes pretty rough and tumble.Chat Icon Chat Icon I would be paying more for broken toys then if I had just bought the toy.

It seems like a good idea in theory but it totally skeeves me out. The thought of letting my young DD play with some toy that's been passed around god knows where and to god knows who is just totally gross. I'd rather buy my DD her own toys, at least I know they are clean.

She said all the toys are sterilized before going back out.

I'm sure they are cleaner than the toys at the doctors offices.

I like the idea in that you could test drive a toy and see if its worth buying or its a nice way to keep the home from being taken over by toys.

As for the company, I can picture a toy company buying it to promote their toys.
