Let's talk birth control.
If you're on it, what are you on?
I've been on Ovcon and Yaz.
I know there are other non-pill options, but they seem so intimidating!
Can you share what you're on or have been on, and any experiences?

ortho tri-cyclen lo, was the best one for me
I had no side effects what so ever, except my periods where a little lighter and easier.
Regular ortho made me nauseous and nothing ever cleared up my skin the way zovia did. But zovia made me really really nauseous. Its a very old school one, with a lot of hormone, but I had an OB that promised it would make my skin look amazing and it did.
My OB was not a fan of the Yaz ones.

I'm on Junel, which is generic Loestrin.
My sex drive has been in the toilet since I started it. Planning to go back to my OB/GYN to switch in about a month.

Im on Kariva which is generic for mircette. I was on it for years before i had DD and am back on it now. So far so good!

Pre pregnancy I was on Ortho tricyclen lo forever. About 10 years on and off (went off when I wasn't in a relationship). No problems, loved it. I tried Yaz once in between, and hated it.
6 months post pregnancy, I went back on it, and didn't get my period for 3 months... didn't like that at all, and am now on nothing because I want to try again in about 6 months, so good old condoms for us for now.
It feels good not being on any medication at all right now.

Me too. I was on it for 15 yrs, and just went back on it last month. I love this pill, never had a prob and always feel good.
