Leg Cramps
I am getting leg cramps at night like crazy - they are so painful!! Anyone know of anything that will relieve the pain?

How many weeks are you? I get them TERRIBLY every night. I've been getting them since about 27 weeks and now at almost 31 they're not any better. I've heard milk and bananas before bedtime, but that hasn't helped me. I think the only thing that will help is having the baby!

I just had one last night TERRIBLE!! I woke up by throwing up acid in my mouth from the heartburn...in which I had to get up to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth...it was so painful to have acid burning my throat and mouth...and when I got up I had a terrible leg cramp and fell out of the bed and couldn't get up. My husband woke up and had to pick me up off the floor! I HATE LEG CRAMPS!!

I am 27 weeks.
The one I had last night was so bad I went flying out of bed - my poor husband - I scared the crap out of him - he kept screaming is the baby ok - is the baby ok - but I was in so much pain I couldn't even talk!
I must have scared the baby too because she was kicking hard for a good half an hour after that.
StepherG - that sounds painful - you poor thing!!

I've been putting a pillow down by my feet and keeping them propped up a bit while sleeping...it seems to be helping a bit.
