leaving 6 month old at gym daycare
I am thinking of joining the gym again, and getting back in serious shape...have been feeling a little under the weather. Just was wondering if any of you ladies left your 6 month dc at the day care offered by the gym, and how did you find it.

I think it would depend on the gym and their day care. Definitely look into the facility and who works there. I have been in gyms where random people work there, inconsistent, things are not clean, and all ages are in one small area and the little ones get trampled.
I am SOOOOO thankful for my gym because there are separate areas for each age group, it's clean, and the ladies are GREAT!

Sorry, I am not in LI (anymore)
I don't think most gyms charge for the daycare. When I used to work on LI in a gym I subbed in the nursery when they were short handed and it was nice that some parents tip a buck or 2.

I go to LA Fitness and the childcare is $3 a session (2 hours) or $10 a month. They require the workers to have background checks. I find their daycare to be crowded though and their ratios seem out of whack. I don't think I would be comfy leaving a 6 month old at the one I go to.
