lamaze class @ lij new hyde park
did anyone take this?
did you find it helpful?
any advice/reviews/thoughts is appreciated.
also - just curious - are these classes reimburseable by insurance?

I took it b/c I delivered at LIJ. Nurse was great. I guess it was somewhat helpful. More interesting to see the hospital and hospital rooms.
They tell you what to expect, when to go to the hospital, what birthing choices there are, etc. Of course the video looks like it's from the 70's. I took it over a year ago so I hope they updated it.
The nurse was great and then it included a BF Class. DH went with me each time. I met some other nice girls and their DH's there.
I say it's worth it
