Lake Grove/Nesconset/Smithtown area residents
DH & I went into Staples today on 25 in Lake Grove (by DSW) and asked the manager what was going where the Stop & Shop, Sally's Beaty SUpply & Hallmark stores were and he said... a Babies R Us!
That is great that there will be one closer to people in these areas and people further east.
Just thought I would share.

They have been talking for awhile about going to a new attached model= meaning BRU attached to TRU, and they were looking for a location in the Smithtown area. Confirmed it was a BRU a few weeks ago with the people working at Hallmark. I'm thinking they are going to shut down the old TRU and make the stores connected, but who knows? The people at TRU said the target opening date is 2/09.

Yup! Stop and Shop closed around July 24th and I just noticed Hallmark the other night. Not sure when it actually closed.
