Ladies who took progesterone shots or supplements
At what week did you come off of them?
I think my RE wants me to come off at 8 weeks. I'm terrified, they are like my safety blanket. Right now I'm taking 1 mL / day and my levels typically come back in the low to mid 30s.
I have an OB appt at 9 weeks....I am going to ask if I can at least stay on them until I get to ask at my appt.

I came off them at 8 weeks too.
I was also terrified. But they had been checking my bloodwork and felt it was high enough that they weren't necessary anymore.
I had a loooong talk with the doctor before I stopped and she explained everything to me so that I felt better about it.

They had me lower my dose at 7w4d, then I completely stopped at 8 weeks.

My RE said 11 weeks, but my RE tends to be really REALLLLLY conservative and my levels were really REALLLLY low before she put me on the PIO shots

I stopped the PIO at 10 weeks and had no problems.

I too them until week 12 and then they made me ill so I stopped taking them. You really only need them 8 weeks or so...no longer than the first trimester.

I stopped at 8/9 weeks... but my RE wanted me to stay on til like 9 or 10 if I recall.
I honestly hated being on them, and felt after I knew everything was progressing well, it was safe to stop. I also was only on them for precautionary reasons.

i felt exactly as you do...i took my last shot the night i turned 9 weeks. I was also told that my RE was very conservative as well.

but i had some leftovers and kept uising them til they ran out at 11 weeks
