Knock on wood---my son has been taking longer naps...

I'm not going to get used to it because I know it won't last but for like the past 3 days DS's first naps have been for like 2-2 1/2 hours long. Yesterday I almost fainted because he had a 3 hr one.

I think he does it cuz he sleeps very restlessly in the early morning hours waking up and then going back to sleep and tossing and turn. I think he's making up for lost time. He usually sleeps for 9-10 hours at night (on and off) now lately he's been doing 8-8 1/2 so he's probably feeling it and hence the longer naps. Cuz when he was doing 9 or 10 hours his daytime naps were shorter.

This is only Temporary i'm sure. In fact I know it is. Like I said he's either making up for loss sleep in the early morning hours (since he tosses and turns a lot and wakes up and goes back) or the growth spurt.

Now if he could only take his bottles again the way he used...
