Kind of off topic, but has anyone starting holiday shopping?
I am out of ideas and don't know what to buy anyone anymore for Christmas.

Us too- We only buy for one adult on DH side- we do secret santa. And on my side, we only buy for my sister since she has been so generous with my brother and me with baby gifts.
I did see a bunch of great stuff for kids at Costco. We got my niece and nephew these Disney kits with stickers, magic markers, coloring books for about $10 each. They will also keep them occupied at my house when they get bored.

I bought my FIL 2 golf shirts, my BIL a sweater, my SIL a cute pocketbook, me and my sister split a steam cleaner for my mom....I cannot say what I got my sister cause she comes on this site......

Everyone is getting a sweater!!
We have 20 nieces and nephews -- we usually give them each a $50 GC but all we get in return from the FAMILIES is like a dish towel or something like that ..so this year we are cutting back. Withoug making it too obvious...
Then there are brothers, sisters, parents, etc....
I started at the outlets when we went to Lenox, MA a few weeks ago. DH thinks I am insane but I say I am smart!

I am only buying for a few people this year. We have so much to do/buy with the baby on the way. I am already making it clear to people now that I cannot afford gifts this year and that we can exchange again next year when hopefully we will be in a better financial position. Not to mention the fact that I don't feel like being pushed and shoved in a shopping mall. I've gotten enough of that already from people who seem to have no consderation for pregnant women! You may be able to find some really good deals online and most online stores offer free shipping and handling during the holidays. But, if you want a great place to go for all sorts of things, try Anthropologie in Roosevelt Field Mall or the one on Northern Blvd in Glen Cove. My favorite store - all sorts of home stuff, clothes, etc. Definitely a place to check out.
ETA: I am Jewish and DH is Catholic so we usually only exchange with his relatives and a few close friends.

We bought a few more things this weekend, but I think a few people are getting gift cards. I dont know what to buy people anymore and figure with a giftcard they can buy what they want or what they need. I might even give them cash.
