Kids sports
We are finally starting soccer back up and one parent is allowed inside to record the game. Last game we didn’t know this so we didn’t get to watch while we sat in our cars. This week I offered to record it so parents can watch. The coach pretty much said he doesn’t have time to worry about it and didn’t take me up on my offer. Seems the other teams are all recording live and we aren’t.
I love the idea because grandparents who haven’t been able to watch them play (or even see them for almost a year!) can watch. Before I become ‘that mom’ and make something out of this...is anyone else watching their kids play? Are other sports doing this? Trying to decide if I should suck it up and be happy they are playing or get myself in there to record it for everyone.
And I did ask some parents and some want to watch and others don’t really car either way. Not one parent was against it.

This is a league you pay for?
I would just show up and record it. It seems like you ran it by everyone so I would go forward with it. I’m sure many parents would appreciate it. I know I would.

We did it for a few hockey tournaments. One dad would go in and FB live it. The first tournament we sat in the parking lot with a big tv and watched and then other family members would watch from home.
And if they are letting one parent in just do it and don’t bother the coach with it. I feel like it was a more of do whatever I just don’t want to have to coordinate anything

My son is playing basketball and the league videos the games for us to stream from the parking lot.

I wish my son's hockey games would be recorded. I hate that I cant see him play. I recommended it to the facility. Livestream the games, and I would even pay to watch him.

I love these self important coaches. Just go in and do it. If it's a problem, I'm sure he will manage to find the time to let you know. Just like he would have found the time to let you know your payment didn't clear if that had been the case.
