Kicking My Ribs!! What do i do??
One of the babies has been swift kicking me in my ribs everytime i sit down. It really, really hurts. I have tried moving him around but it does not seem to be working. Anything i can do?? I am only 27 weeks...does this get more painful as i go on....

Fight back! j/k I don't have any suggestions as my baby has seemed to have made a home in my diaphragm for the past week and won't leave.

Sometimes they move towards warmth or away from light (depending on how many weeks you are). Try shining a lflashlight over your ribs. Then again, you are scaring the him/her to get them to move away.

Christopher was a rib-kicking, rib-headbutting maniac. Nothing I did worked and it was always the SAME EXACT SPOT. It did get worse as he got bigger. Hopefully you can get some good advice!

Luka was pushing against my ribs from 20 weeks until I delivered him. The only thing that worked for me was to lay on my side and it seemed to always work. Another thing was I switched from underwire to non-underwire bra's.

Ali..........this started happeneing to me yesterday. It is so uncomfortable to sit .
Every position I sit in is not comfy

I got relieve! My mom (who use to be a maternity nurse) gave me great advice. Lay on the side opposite the side he is kicking. Then put your arm on the side he is kicking over you head for a few minutes. He stopped kicking the ribs and went back to the side after that. Now if i could only do that at work when it starts up!!
That really, really hurts. I was terrified he could break a rib...but my mom said that is not possible. Whew!

thanks for the advice...only thing is if I lay on my side....this body is not getting up
