Just called Tutor Time in New Hyde Park
to get some general information and there is a waiting list for children to get in until the 2nd week in August!
YIKES! We cant make any definite daycare plans for another few weeks (I'm interviewing for a job at a different school in riverdale and if I dont get it I'll stay at my current school on LI)
I thought we had so much time to think about this stuff - We need part time daycare starting the last week in August. I need to interview part time nannies - look into part time daycare - Now I had better get a move on!!!!!!

Yep - two of the places I like in NJ have waiting lists of almost a year.

Yep - two of the places I like in NJ have waiting lists of almost a year.
I guess I shouldnt be surprised - considering how much demand there is for daycare - but talk about a cold dose of reality!
