Jenny McCarthy: Jim Carrey & I Want to Be Like Kurt and Goldie
Things are going great for Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey – but don't expect them to walk down the aisle any time soon.
"There will be no wedding," McCarthy, 34, told PEOPLE Thursday at the opening of the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Times Square Odditorium in New York City. "Goldie [Hawn] and Kurt [Russell] have it made, and that's what we can strive for."
McCarthy and Carrey, 45, who've been dating for more than a year, are both parents: He has a 19-year-old daughter, Jane, and she's mom to 5-year-old Evan Joseph.
"I'm completely fine not having any more children," she said Thursday. "I completely love mine, and I love giving him all of my attention."
McCarthy's book about Evan, Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism, hits shelves in September. "He's doing great!" she said. Their daily routine: "I pick him up from preschool, take him to gym class, then speech therapy. I take him home, we play, I feed him, I give him a bath and then I read him a bedtime story and put him to bed. So that's my workout."
If her son keeps her in shape, her healthy diet helps too. "It's all about fruits and vegetables, and introducing that to my normal everyday," the Weight Watchers spokesperson told PEOPLE. "Before it would be fill up on meals, but now it's fill up on fruits and vegetables and still enjoy your pizza and chips."
What are her warm-weather beauty secrets? "My summer beauty regimen is deodorant, shave, and wipe!" she said. "I still Mystic Tan to keep an even glow. Sometimes, regular sunbathing is patchy, so that's kind of a secret to what the girls do out there in L.A."
A tan will come in handy, because she and Carrey have one thing on their agenda this summer. "Beach beach beach beach beach," she said. "We like to sit and do nothing. Stare at the ocean and go 'ohhmmm.' "
