It's Official: Cast of Jersey Shore Returns for Season 2
Pump your fists, Jersey Shore fans!
MTV has announced that its hit reality show, Jersey Shore, will return with the original cast for a second season this summer.
Pauly Delvecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “J-WOWW” Farley, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Margo and Vinny Guadagnino will all “escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination” for season 2, MTV said in a statement.
“Our audience has fallen in love with Jersey Shore and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family. That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends to bring fans more of what they love — laughs, love, drama and of course, GTL,” MTV’s President of Programming Tony DiSanto said.

I think it's going to suck.  Part of the fun of the show was how they thought they were the sh!t when they really weren't. After spending a year in the spotlight and getting some big bucks, it's going to go to their heads and not be fun anymore.
That's what happened to the Gastineau Girls a few years ago. (yes, I watched  ) The first season was fun but the mother spent the second season saying "They love us, that's why we're back" and they started acting for the camera.

Totally agree and they aren't even going to be down at the shore? What's the point??

MTV will probably take them someplace where they just do not fit in at all......so look for more fights with the locals wherever it is. JMO.

I think the show is gonna 'jump the shark' if they film it anywhere other than the shore.

I did love watching this show, but I think the new season is going to be awful. It will probably be so scripted. They are way to famous now, and probably so full of themselves. Yes, more then they where already. At least they should bring in a new person to replace Angelina. That would bring something new to the show. I wish they would of kept it at the Jersey shore and get a new cast. All they have to do is go to my gym, they can find a new cast any day of the week. LOL

I am not a fan of them being in any element other than the Jersey Shore. SO what will they call it then? Jersey shore kids go to Boston?

I think the Hamptons would be a good idea. But I heard they wanted somewhere that is always warm out so they can show more skin on the show. Go figure!

Although they hardly ever went to the beach during their tenure in Seaside last summer, the cast of Jersey Shore is rumored to be packing their bags and readying for a winter in South Beach for their much-talked about second season. According to Bill Zwecker of The Chicago Sun Times, ``I'm also hearing that South Beach in Miami is the most likely new setting for the Jersey Shore troupe, given taping episodes this winter in New Jersey would be far from beach-like! Los Angeles area communities are also being considered, but Miami Beach is the most likely site.'' Great news for those who frequent the clubs with no purpose other than hooking up. Now they can take home an STD and a cameo appearance on MTV.
