Items are being purchased off my registry and I only started no ivitations were sent etc..just me and my mom know about it
Two large items were purchased off the registry. My pliko P3 stroller that I wasn't even going to register for and my highchair. I was on the site late last night and nothing was purchased.
I called the store thinking it's glitch because nobody knows about it just me and my mom and no invites were sent.
The lady said it could be my mom but its not my mom I called her and she would tell me plus she's buying the whole nursery set for me and throwing my shower.
My concern is that it's a glitch but the store couldn't help me about that. I noticed a few time glitches in the registry system. I'll just leave it as is I guess.

I know that for my bridal shower things were bought off my registry way before the shower was planned....I think some people (esp. family) buy early so that they have a variety of things to choose from.

Did you register somewhere obvious like BRU, BBB or Target? People know to look there even before the invites.

As soon as we announced we were having a baby, we found out that a few friends were already trying to find our registry. We found out because they finally asked us where we were registered because they couldn't find our registry. We weren't even registering for another few months. So, if we had a registry at that time, they would've found it.

yes BRU just there nowhere else. I called my DH and told him about it and asked him if he told his family and he said no. I said do yout think it could be a mistake and he says no. lol
Maybe he did mention it to his family???The reason why I think that is because his mom gets really sensitive about not being involved in things and probably wanted to make sure to get the larger items first. That may be it. It was just funny that he said no it's probably not a mistake fast like he did.
My only concern is that its not a glitch. I've noticed BRU registry to be very glitchy. Sometimes I see more quanties displayed than what I really want. It's weird.

I could see buying a gift before the invitation arrived. Particularly if I wanted to be the one that gave a big gift or if I was chipping in with someone else.

People are expecting that you would register soon. Plus, your mom could have bought it, or maybe told an aunt or grandparent about it. People closest to you will buy you the big ticket items as soon as they can.
