Is this a good weight gain for a 1 year old...
I know that once they turn 1 the growth gain slows down as they get more active.
DS went to his 18 month checkup today (well lets call it the 19th month cuz he didn't go at 18 months---I had to cancel that appointment) Anyways at his 15 month checkup he was 20lbs 7ounces ---4 months later he is 21lbs 7 ounces...One pound...is that a fair gain for a toddler in a span of 4 months? Doctor did not say anything at all about his weight.
I'm not worried, just curious if the weight gain sounds fine. He is skinny...guess it's just in his jeans to be thin...

That's fine...the twins were 17lbs at a year and 21lbs at 2.

Oh cool...Like I said the doctor did not express any concerns to me and said that he'll see him after his 2nd birthday which is in June...

My ds was 25 lbs 6 oz at 15 months and 27 lbs 9 oz at 18 months.
