is there an auto insurance company that doesnt check your credit?
my sis is paying through the roof for liability and they say its bc of her credit
i thought i remember a commercial a while ago for an insurance co that didnt care about credit
anyone know

I Have seen ads in NJ that say they don't care about credit
I know my 2 compaies check- All State and Travelers- thank g-d my credit is better then my driving record!

You're not required to give them your SS# as far as I know to get a quote. I had a friend who worked for Geico. He said if you didn't want them to check your credit, don't include your SS#. (You may have to give it to them when you sign up for the policy, but it won't affect your rate then.)

You're not required to give them your SS# as far as I know to get a quote. I had a friend who worked for Geico. He said if you didn't want them to check your credit, don't include your SS#. (You may have to give it to them when you sign up for the policy, but it won't affect your rate then.)

they'll require the SS# after binding coverage, then her rates will skyrocket.
Maybe the no-credit-check co was TSC direct?

I think that commercial was for Auto One, but also def check out e-surance - GREAT rates with no so perfect credit

I've never heard of that happening. I got into trouble in college and had awful credit I've since repaired. My car insurance rates NEVER skyrocketed after giving them my SS# to bind the coverage, nor did they go up when it was time to renew.
